I just wanted to thank you again for the absolutely wonderful time I had ballooning with you.

I am well aware that the spectacular ride you provided is a once in a life time experience.

Ever since I saw a hot air balloon float over my house when I was younger, I have wanted to fly in one, and thanks to you, it was well worth the wait.

But aside from the stunning views and even the fulfillment of my dream of flying in a hot air balloon, I took something much greater away from this experience.

As I find myself at 19 years old and very unsure about my future, I am constantly looking for examples of people who were able to live their dreams.

Call it youthful idealism, but my biggest fear is, as Thoreau would put it, to come to die and realize that I haven't lived.

But after our flight, I realized that with the passion that you put in to every flight and the sparkle in your eyes when you talk about the history of ballooning, you are a true hero and inspiration.

Whenever I start to think about taking the easier way, or even the richer way, I can now stop and remember that I met a man who dreamed of flying and who succeeded.

Thank you for proving to me that it is always worth following your passion.

You'll remember my niece - Maggie Ann - with the same name as your balloon.

Not only did we enjoy the balloon flight, as you said we would, but we all really enjoyed meeting you.

I don't think your web site does you justice. It is a great site but it doesn't present you and your life story adequately. You and your life are fascinating!
