August 25, 2000 Thank you so very much for that terrific balloon ride. The boys loved it and I have enclosed their thank you notes with mine. I wasn't able to imagine how it would be, and now I know. It was serenely peaceful and so, so beautiful floating above our incredible landscape, leaving all my cares behind. Being in Johnny's expert hands caused any of my initial fears to disappear. And the gathering at the end with champagne and all the other delectable goodies capped the whole experience to perfection. All The Best, Janelle

August 29, 2000 Jim and I would like to tell you again how much we enjoyed the GREAT RIDE AND MORNING with you earlier this August. Thank you, Johnny, for suggesting that I really consider whether I wanted to miss the gorge flight or not. Although I had taken a balloon flight in Colorado, this flight was a one of a kind, and I definitely recommend it for anyone, no matter how may times they have flown! Dipping over the edge of the gorge was magical, and I had never seen an eagle's nest :-) The two of you have thought of every detail, and then improved on it! Debbie, I certainly didn't expect the champagne brunch to include the spectacular and delicious spread that you prepared! That's what I mean about improving all the details. And Johnny, after taking your flight, it was as if this was my first flight! So, thank you for "initiating" me with the other first-timers. If Jim and I get back to our cabin at Valle Escondido before you head for Abilene this fall, we'll give you a Texas holler... otherwise, see you in 2001!
